Appearance --
Shadepaw has a slightly narrow face with wide ears positioned a little off to the side. Set in her narrow face are a pair of nearly round bright green eyes that shift occasionally from green to yellow to amber and back . She appears to have a graceful manner of carrying herself with her long body and fine-boned limbs, making her agile. Her tail is long and straight with a slight taper. She is muscular in the way of swimmers rather than wrestlers. Her limbs are long and fine with small, well-rounded feet. Her coat's an even, bright blue, a stark contrast to her bright green eyes. She has white splotch covering her chest as well as white paws. Four long, thin scars extend from her left ear down to the tip of her nose, barely nicking her left eye. She is known for having rather expressive eyes, always animated, always going, showing everything and trying in vain to hide it. She is always moving something, a flick of her wide ears, a twitch of paws, a swish of her long tail. Often, she appears to be smiling.
Short Description -- A gray and white she-cat with green eyes.
Personality --
Though her eyes are expressive, Shadepaw herself is naturally shy, even a little quiet. She is fiercely loyal to her Clan and her very few friends. She prefers to listen rather talk; to think rather than act. She's more comfortable alone than in large groups. She is a strong and reliable worker but often seems tense. She is also forgiving of nature. She tends to worry too much but prefers not to voice her concerns. She isn't too easily upset, one might say she is calm. She has an adventurous streak in her at least a country mile wide. She is seemingly cold and aloof, but mostly not. In fact, she is quite the opposite. She can be amiable and has a deep awareness of the suffering of others. She is an apt student but has a quick tongue. All in all, she is compassionate, caring, patient, and witty, though timid.
History --
Though she's had a rather short life, it ain't been easy, as they say. Almost alone from the begging, Shade could rely on herself and her older brother, Deimos, who was impatient and had a "devil-may-care" view. They clashed on many things, naturally, though Shade was less likely to tell him where he could stick it. When it came to the shattered remnants of the Clans, Shade wanted to be of some use. The loner life was not one for her. Besides that, she had to face the music, Deimos was bad, bad to the bone. Every part of him was pure evil and every part of her was somewhere in the middle. On the banks of Crystal River, where the sand is pure white, where the clear water laps the banks and the leave float like lost souls, the siblings parted. Deimos was naturally in a rage, for he loved his sister in his own twisted way and Shade parted in sadness; she feared for her broken brother. And so the Light came into the Shade. Shade took on an apprentice name and became Shadepaw of StreamClan.
Lineage --
Sire- Ahsan
Dam- Aisling
Siblings- Deimos
RP Sample --
The time had come. Shade knew that; surely Deimos knew that. He had. He can't be that dense the little grey she-cat thought with a bemused smile. Yes, he could. He could also be reckless and bitter and bad, just plain evil really. She sat by the crystal clear river, paws kneading the sand nervously. He could also be fashionably late or just late. Then, out of the bracken, like a, well, like a big black cat with glowing amber eyes, Deimos came out of the dark and into the light. Well, it was more like the darkness he carried came into the light with him. Shade could feel his anger like a flame, bright and hot. Shade met him somewhere in the middle, her sides heaving in anticipation.
"Please, don't be angry, brother" she advised in her calm, quiet way, green eyes betraying her fear.
"Angry?! Me?! Noooo...." He loomed over her, amber eyes glowing fiercely.
"You-you knew this day would come, Deimos. You-"
"NO!" he roared. She saw only a glint of his claws in the glowing light of morning. She hissed in pain as her crimson blood stained the white sand of the beach. She winced before turning back to her brother but her was gone, his darkness going with him. A freeing sadness washed over her. I'm not Shade anymore. I never was. I was always meant to be Shadepaw...
