Let's face it--everyone hates reading those long-winded rules sections that explain every little detail of every single rule, most of which are common sense. So, with that in mind, I'm going to try to make this short and to the point.
Out Of Character
1) Don't be a n00b.
2) Swearing is allowed, but keep it to a minimum.
3) If you have a problem with a specific member, either PM the person directly or contact a staff member. Don't publicly declare that you hate someone, as it only causes problems.
4) Remember those rules about politeness and respect you learned about in kindergarten? They apply here too.
In Character
1) Posts should be at least a good sized paragraph. 2-4 paragraphs is preferable, and more is even better. You don't have to write a novel for every post though.
2) Absolutely no chatspeak/l33tspeak.
3) Characters may swear where appropriate.
4) Characters can only be in one place at once.
5) When your character leaves a thread, put "TO: ____" at the bottom of their final post.
6) When making OOC comments, mark them in any way you like, as long as it's marked somehow.
7) No powerplaying, godmodding, etc.
8) Your cat's biography must be accepted before you can roleplay with it.
9) All posts are limited to T rated content. Anything rated M is strongly discouraged, and has its own set of rules (see extended rules for more info).
