In order to help new members and old members alike, at Shattered's 'request', I have written up a Site History; this should explain a lot about us. Enjoy.
:Note: I wasn't here until Plot 2, so sue me if I mess things up before that point.

Warriors Within
[beginning]
[beginning]
Created August 22, 2005, Warriors Within started out as an average Warriors Role-Play Site (WRPS). Three Real-Life friends, known as Shattered, Sable, and Blondie, founded it and led three of the four Clans: Shattered with MarshClan, Sable heading OceanClan, and Blondie placed in charge of ValleyClan. A fourth member, Panther, joined and led MountainClan. At this point, very little was happening: members joined, and the site recieved a high influx of new members who were mostly active at first (though perhaps not too literate, but who was at that point in time), but soon slowed down until the activity was at a normal rate for a site. During this time, four members in particular joined: Hidden, her real-life pal Rainy, Raven, and Sky. While at first they were just run-of-the-mill players, they would, eventually, become legends in their own time, at least on these pages.
Warriors Within: The War
[first plot;; version 1.1]
[first plot;; version 1.1]
The large numbers of members with little to do but simply RP their characters in normal, every-day Clan situations made life more than just slightly dull on WWn. Shattered, Sable, Blondie, and Panther agreed to start the first plot ever for the site: a war, mostly between MarshClan and OceanClan, over kits. It was at this point that the first Inter-Clan Relationship took place, between Shattered's MarshClan tom, Owlface, and Sable's OceanClan Queen, Frostfur. Four kits were born, though only two would end up being more than just names: Falconkit, Cinderkit, Killerkit, and Cloudedkit. The first two were taken to MarshClan, with their father, and the remaining pair stayed with their OceanClan dam. Though they were the beginnings of The War, as it later came to be known, those four characters were not the true root of it. Rather, it came from young players Hidden and Rainy. Hidden RPed a pair of kittypet siblings, named Socks and Scraps, who had left their Twoleg home for adventure in the woods. Taken in by Sablestar and given the names Darkkit and Lightkit. Shatteredstar, on the other hand, despised kittypets, regardless of age, gender, or prowess in warrior skills, and attacked OceanClan. The remaining two chose sides: ValleyClan with MarshClan, MountainClan with their oceanic neighbors. The bloodshed was great, but the war quickly ended with both sides licking their wounds and the two kittypets remaining with Sablestar.
Warriors Within: The Sickness
[second plot;; version1.2]
[second plot;; version1.2]
The second plot began a time after the war, allowing a buffer so that new members could adjust, as could the old-timers. At this point, another new member, Iceth, joined; like Hidden, Rainy, Raven, and Sky, she, too, would become a concrete part of the website. The four administrators had come up with a new plot, one that vaguely mirrored the one seen in books 7-9 of the Warriors Series: a terrible illness would come to the Clans, and four apprentices, one from each Clan, would have to journey to far-off lands to find the cure to it. So Cinderpaw, Darkpaw , Snowpaw, and Sunpaw (a young former loner who'd joined ValleyClan) set off over the mountains to find the herb that would save their Clans. Meanwhile, back home, things were happening; terrible things that would affect the entire site. Panther had left the site, having become increasingly inactive, and Raven became MTC Leader in her stead, appointing one of Iceth's characters as her deputy.
After several tediously long threads by the Plot Characters, and several months of waiting, the Sickness plot came to an end, and brought with it a first for the site: an Activity Check. It was very thorough, with Shattered e-mailing all of the site's registered members and giving them a link to the site. When all was said and done, the site was greatly reduced to 25-50 members, though in reality, only around 10 were consistently active.
Warriors Within: The Rise of ClawClan
[third plot;; version 1.3]
[third plot;; version 1.3]
The idea of a rogue group rose from memories of BloodClan from Book 6 in the series. Blondie spearheaded the plot, with Sable acting as her deputy, both in character and out of it. At this point, literacy was becoming a first-priority issue for the active members, who had the unofficial positions of staff: Hidden, Rainy, Iceth, Raven, and new-comer Fox, who had also become the youngest member on record, though her posts failed to reflect that age. ClawClan arose out of a need for a plot that, unlike it's predecessor, would include most, if not all, of the members of the site.
Possibly the longest running plot of its time, the ClawClan plot nearly ended abruptly near its midpoint due to a tragic occurance. Blondie and Sable had started their own role-play site, inspired by book 8, and it had flourished until a powerhungry, noobish member, named Bloodstar, had attempted to gain leadership of a tribe, and was rejected. As he continued to flame Everlasting Tribes, as it was known, Blondie and Sable chose to I.P. Ban him, in order to keep their site safe. Shortly after that decision, Sable recieved an e-mail that possibly contained a virus, and both Sable and Blondie left the site, in order to keep WWn safe. Shattered took over the plot, and it ended smoothly. Raven left near its end, and Iceth became the new MTC leader; Rainy became VC leader in Blondie's place, and Hidden was given OC. At this point, only one of the original members, Shattered, remained. It was also at this point that another pair of soon-legend members, Jade and Dove, joined WWn. Though slightly younger than Fox, Jade was filled with ideas about characters and the site; Dove, between Shattered and Jade in age, also had her own good thoughts about what-to-do-next.
Warriors Within: The Shadows' Attack
[fourth plot;; version 1.4]
[fourth plot;; version 1.4]
After the third plot, we thought we had been done with group rebellions, but lo and behold, we managed one more. The Faithful Shadows were made up of the second and third generation of ClawClan cats who couldn't fit in with the every day life of the Clans. They joined with Stormfaith and Wingedflight, two ValleyClanners also fed up with Clan life. Led this time by Iceth, it was in this plot that Version 1.3's dream of an all-inclusive plot was realized: many members, especially the now-legendary Jade, Fox, Dove, Rainy, Hidden, Sky, and Iceth, found that they could easily take sides, or just remain in between. Lasting from mid-to-late 2006 to June 2007, the plot ended with the death of Stormfaith; interest in the plot had declined towards the end, as a new plot began to bubble in the mind of Jade.
Warriors Within Version 2.1
[revamp; second version; first plot]
[revamp; second version; first plot]
After the end of 1.4, the staff members of WWn, which now included not just Shattered, but Hidden, Rainy, Iceth, Fox, Jade, and Dove, began to talk of a new face for the site. You see, thoughts of a time in the slightly-far-off future were surfacing, a time when the Clans either did not exist anymore, and the cats were reduced to being gangs of loners without a code or leaders, or of one where they worshipped new deities instead of their ancestors. The latter was adopted at first, and Jade and Iceth together worked to make a 'hostile takeover of OceanClan' plot work, using Azali [Jade] and Freedsprit [Ice]. The plot didn't work too well, and, on August 1, 2007, the site underwent a mass makeover.
Warriors Within Version 3.0

[Charred Royalty]
As seen above, the revamp's plot was an utter failure. Now moved to another set of forums (to prevent the mass spamming and flaming that had occured previously), the remaining members (Hidden, Ice [now Dizzy], Raven [having returned to the site], Fox, Jade, and new-comer [and Dizzy's real-life friend] Leafy) began to brainstorm on how to make the site better, with a more realistic plot.
The idea that came about was this: the Clans, having reformed, were now lead by cats who were, for the most part, questionable choices of StarClan indeed. Plaguestar [Dizzy] led MireClan (though he often questioned his abilities to do so); Crimsonstar [Fox] took control of GorgeClan (he, too, felt the need to rebel and, at the same time, honor his ancestry); Vastflame [Jade] stood at the head of StreamClan and Mintleaf [Hidden], one of the few remaining cats from the time of the original Clans, led WillowClan. WillowClan's medicine cat, Icefire [Dizzy], was a questionable choice for his job, too. Knowing precious little, or, to be more exact, nothing at all, about healing, Icefire possessed a powerful gift: the ability to cause great amounts of pain and suffering telekinetically. Small in stature, his goal was to control the entire forest, something that echoed previous villains; Icefire, however, was particularly close to Mintleaf, and was able to control her actions through his sly, slippery words.
